The Rock makes WrestleMania comeback?

After having explored the glittering world of cinema, Dwayne Johnson, better known to his fans across the globe as "The Rock" has made a come back of sorts on WrestleMania.

WWE fans were in for a big surprise as the theme music of "The Rock" was heard, they would have repeated in their heads and hearts one of the most famous lines of the wrestling arena: “Finalllly…The Rock…has come back!”

It has been some time since it was made known that Wrestle Mania was to be hosted by a guest from outside the current WWE lot by none other than Vince McMohan himself. Since then, rumors were circulated about who this guest would be. Netizens best guesses were teen sensation Justin Beiber and Bob Barker.

The secret came out on last night’s episode of RAW, when after a complete black out and sounds of thunder and lightning with light effects to match the familiar music befell the ears of the audiences along with the words adored “If ya smellll..”.

Detailing the reasons of this much-awaited and much-anticipated comeback in a 15-minute long speech, "The Rock" also took the opportunity to deride some of the current wrestlers including superstar John Cena and Michael Cole. Cena had earlier suggested that Johnson’s claim that he liked the sport was wrong and that he had used the WWE only as a stepping stone into the showbiz.

The appearance in this year’s edition of WrestleMania would be after a long hiatus of seven years. The self-imposed break taken by Johnson was to accomplish his movie star dreams. Subsequently, he did some great roles in some good movies making it big in Hollywood.

The moment was really a historical one with “The Great One” returning to his roots. Sure enough all fans would be roaring “Bring it Up!”
