One of the most touching moment at the Sunday Emmy night was the appearance of this night’s hero, whose name sounded in 7 nominations: Temple Grandin. The favourite biopic of Emmy 2010 won 5 nominations of those seven for describing life of Doctor Temple Grandin. She got her degree in Animal Science and became the best selling author and consultant to the livestock industry in animal behavior, despite her autism diagnosis which was found out when she was only 2. Claire Danes played the title role and held back tears on the stage.

The Mad Men actress’ blue evening gown made everyone say “AH!” at the red carpet. Having collected lots of enthusiastic reviews about her long beige gown for the previous Emmy, this year she possibly decided to repeat the success and make everyone stunned once again. In the interview to Access Hollywood she told she didn’t care about fashion police and their opinion. She just was wearing her dress, that’s all.

Tonight (Sunday, August 29, 2010) the Primetime Emmy awards aired live on NBC. Programs and Individual Achoevements were awarded by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. 

The 62nd Ceremony was held live in Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The Academy Chairman and CEO john Chaffner took part in the ceremony and Don Mischer was the executive producer of the telecast. Before these 26 Emmy categories were announced tonight, the other 74 Emmy categories and areas were presented at the creative Arts Awards on August, 21 2010 at the same Nokia Theatre.

The Bob Hope Humanitarian Award based in 2002, has found its owner for this year. During the gorgeous television night of 2010 Primetime Emmy the award for outstanding progress in humanitarian efforts and charity will be given to a Hollywood star George Clooney.

62nd Emmy Primetime Awards will be as usual accompanied with annual Governor’s Ball. About 3,500 luxurious celebrities and guests will enjoy the magnificent atmosphere and delicate dishes and drinks, which are, besides, worth special mentioning. The Ball, which follows the award program on August 29, is announced to be the largest formal dinner in the USA.

On July, 31 Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards 2010 will honor main achievements of cable and television stations that refer to LA only. The annual ceremony will gather LA celebrities for the 62nd time in North Hollywood at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre.
