Tonight (Sunday, August 29, 2010) the Primetime Emmy awards aired live on NBC. Programs and Individual Achoevements were awarded by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. 

 

The 62nd Ceremony was held live in Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The Academy Chairman and CEO john Chaffner took part in the ceremony and Don Mischer was the executive producer of the telecast. Before these 26 Emmy categories were announced tonight, the other 74 Emmy categories and areas were presented at the creative Arts Awards on August, 21 2010 at the same Nokia Theatre.

 

The independent accounting firm Ernst and Young LLP has tabulated the awards. The largest number of wins have collected Glee, the musical comedy-drama television series that focuses on a high school show choir, Modern Family, that is an American mockumentary comedy TV series, and Mad Men, which regularly depicts the changing social mores of 1960s America.

 

As a result, the biggest winners of Primetime Emmy are the follows:

For the nomination of OUTSTANDING SUPPORTING ACTOR IN A COMEDY SERIES the winner is ERIC STONESTREET as Cameron Tucker – Modern Family.
