Madonna Named 'VH1's Greatest Woman In Music'

According to 'VH1's poll, Madonna is the greatest woman is music history. She has been chosen among hundred of pop stars and has defeated Mariah Carey and Beyoncé, who placed second and third places respectfully. Lady GaGa and Adele complete the top five. See Top 20 below.

Whitney Houston, who was laid to rest this Saturday, appears in sixth place, while Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera and Mary J. Blige also feature in the top ten.

Britney Spears finished outside the top ten, charting in eleventh position, with Rihanna just making the top twenty at No.20.
