Justin Timberlake's Race Car Wins Indy 500

Well, the singer and actor Justin Timberlake was not actually driving the winning car, but sponsored its participation in the Indianapolis 500 race. US Weekly informed that on Sunday, the car piloted by Dan Wheldon and belonging to Timberlake’s clothing line, William Rast showed absolutely incredible finish.

"What a Memorial Day weekend! The William Rast car just won the Indy 500!!!!" Timberlake tweeted shortly after the race.

The singer-turned-actor also tweeted his congrats and thanks to everyone involved in the win.

"Congrats to Dan Wheldon, the WR racing team and everyone else who put in the hard work for this victory! Unreal!" he wrote.

The event passed not without some drama, which, besides, helped Justin’s car win. The race leader Rookie JR Hildebrand crashed his car seconds before the finish, and at the same time Wheldon’s vehicle got ahead.
