62nd Emmy Primetime Awards will be as usual accompanied with annual Governor’s Ball. About 3,500 luxurious celebrities and guests will enjoy the magnificent atmosphere and delicate dishes and drinks, which are, besides, worth special mentioning. The Ball, which follows the award program on August 29, is announced to be the largest formal dinner in the USA.

The catering services will again be kindly issued by Patina Restaurant Group. With Chef Joachim Splichal in head, they will provide the delicious menu, typically for the Patina based on fresh ingredients. Three main courses according to blogs.laweekly.com are the followings: summer vegetable salad with avocado mousse, salsa verde, heirloom tomato gelée; rack of lamb with dried fruit crumble, chickpea puree, basil marinated grilled eggplant with summer vegetables and rosemary juice; and a dark chocolate decadence with smoked fleur de sel on Duncan Hines chewy fudge brownie. The wizard who invented the entire miracle is Splichal and Patina Catering executive chef Alec Lestr.

Napa Valley winery Beaulieu Vineyard is the official wine sponsor for Carneros Chardonnay, Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, and Muscat de Beaulieu which will be served to meat dishes. The Ball will be decorated with 5,000 white calla lilies, 20,000 white roses, and 50,000 carnations provided by LA Premier Floral Event Design.
