TV star Bethenny Frankel told on the "Today" show Monday why she let her new Bravo show, "Bethenny Ever After," slip. The show host has suffered a miscarriage at eight weeks and says she had new emotions to cope with and new experience to grasp. She also passed through the doubts about her age and thoughts if she was a good match to her husband.
"Until you become a woman, you don't know the things that come with being a woman," Frankel said. "I'm 41, and, I don't know, it's not really my choice. It's not really my option, and the window's closing, and it's something I'm dealing with."
As far as whether she wants to keep trying, Frankel's unsure.
"I'm not really thinking about it. I don't know what I feel about what my options are," she said. "I do have an incredible daughter, I feel like she's perfect, and truthfully, I have thought about other women more than myself. The first thing that I thought about was, ' I can't believe what people must go through if they can't even have the one.'"
She continued, "Thinking about those women who can't have their own baby, even the first baby, I mean, I'm really lucky. I have the most beautiful daughter in the world. And I'm grateful for her."
